Bea Tricks!
Bea Tricks!
Sevilla, Spain / London, UK
Wagon Repair

Bea grew up in Sevilla, Spain. Throughout her life music has been a massive influence, on mood, fashion and lifestyle. Her early years were spent enjoying rock'n'roll, rhythm 'n' blues and rockabilly. Which progressed into new wave & punk. Through the she started partying more and soon dtcovered acid house,  techno and other electronic music.

By 2002 Bea was living between Barcelona and Ibiza, partying. Working in clubs and messing about behind the decks. By 2003 she had a residence at Ak Morgana. That year she also met Xochilt. They quickly clicked musically and otherwise, and began to forge a solid bond.  Bea joined Xochilt at her residency at Superfreq in Underground, where they finished the summer playing a weekly residency as Dollz at Play. The Dollz ato finished the season playing the space closing for ‘what’s up’.

That winter Bea moved to London, as Dollz at Play switched their residency to The End club playing for Superfreq, alongside the party’s other resident and creator, the legendary Mr C. Word of mouth spread and the Dollz were soon firm crowd favourites, and with their unique style of music and fashion they graced the cover of 'DJ Magazine'.

The Dollz began playing regularly for Superfreq and other well respected organizations and clubs all over the world. Along with all of Europe, their distinctive sound has taken them to Dubai, Istanbul, Beirut, Russia, Tours of Mexico, Asia, including China & Japan, across the States: NYC, LA and Miami where they played 'Sunday school for degenerates' at the prestigious winter conference. They’ve also continued their love of Ibiza with Superfreq summer residencies at the infamous 'DC10' Ibiza. Along with playing at several other Ibiza clubs.

The Dollz also began producing music. With their first release being on Wagon Repair, all that while continuing their Superfreq residency which is now at the beautiful Paramount Club London after the closing of The End.

Bea continues to live in and draws inspiration from the magic of Ibiza. Whilst Xotchilt is off to live in LA. Whilst this is by no means the end of the Dollz, who will no doubt continue to rock dance floors all over the world. It is also the start of something new for both girls.

It was in Ibiza that Bea met beatboxer and producer ‘Beatmaster G’. where she embarked on a separate new project as ‘Bea Tricks’. Bea has a very distinctive style, both anarcist punk and elegant diva, this reflects heavily on her fashion and music. A unique character, she can be found rubbing shoulders with music’s elite, and also in the most underground crazy after parties! You can hear all her musical and life influences coming through heavily in her productions, which have a very distinct personal sound. Either love it or hate it, but you can not ignore it.
